Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. General Rule
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to digital marketing service engagements unless a written proposal, invoice, or project agreement states different cancellation or refund terms. Because services involve professional time, analysis, setup, content preparation, campaign configuration, reporting, and other labor, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the work and the terms of the specific engagement.
2. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client asks to cancel before substantive work has begun, we will review the request in light of any reserved time, completed onboarding, platform setup, third-party charges, or other costs already incurred. Any refund or credit will be handled according to the written agreement and applicable law. An enquiry or website form submission alone does not create a paid service and therefore does not require a cancellation.
3. Project-Based Services
Project-based services include Digital Marketing Strategy, Website Traffic Analysis, individual Email Marketing Campaigns, and Conversion Rate Optimization unless otherwise agreed. If a project is canceled after work has started, the client remains responsible for work completed and non-recoverable costs incurred through the cancellation date. Work already delivered or substantially completed is generally not refundable merely because the client later changes direction, pauses its business, or decides not to implement the recommendations.
4. Monthly Services
Monthly services include Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, Paid Advertising Management, and Content Marketing when billed on a monthly basis. Cancellation affects future service periods according to the written arrangement. Work completed during a current paid service period is not automatically refundable. If a monthly engagement has a specific notice period, that written notice period controls.
5. Advertising Spend
Advertising media spend is paid separately to the relevant platform and is not part of our management fee. Refunds, credits, invalid-click adjustments, account credits, or other advertising spend decisions are controlled by the advertising platform's rules. We cannot promise that a third-party advertising platform will issue a refund.
6. Third-Party Fees
Third-party expenses that have already been purchased or committed for the client are generally non-refundable unless the third-party provider itself provides a refund. Examples may include premium software, domain or hosting charges, stock assets, platform fees, or other externally billed items approved for the engagement.
7. Client Delay or Non-Cooperation
A client delay does not automatically create a refund right. If work is paused because the client has not supplied access, approvals, content, data, or instructions, we may hold the project until the required materials are received. If the delay materially affects scheduling, a revised delivery date may be required.
8. Quality Concerns
If a client believes completed work does not conform to the agreed scope, the client should identify the specific issue promptly and provide enough information for review. Where appropriate and within the agreed scope, we may correct an error or clarify a deliverable before considering another remedy. Dissatisfaction with marketing performance alone does not establish that the service was not performed because results depend on factors described in the Digital Marketing, SEO & Advertising Results Disclaimer.
9. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method when practical. Financial institutions and payment processors control final posting times. Any legally required refund rights remain unaffected by this policy.
10. Written Terms Control
For clarity, a signed or otherwise accepted project-specific agreement can establish a different cancellation schedule, notice period, milestone arrangement, or refund rule. Clients should review those terms before approving a project or recurring service.
